The Heart of a Grand Old Town: the Voices of Expo ‘74
A Reader’s Theatre Oral History Project
ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ University Dept of History and ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ Theatre present a Reader’s Theatre performance commemorating Expo ’74. Using original oral histories of those who organized and experienced the Expo, performers recount the motives for the Expo, its development, and visitors’ experiences as well as the Expo’s lasting impact on the Spokane region. ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ students researched original sources, wrote the script, and perform this event, sponsored by ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ University.
